This month his tag highlighted butterflies and his new Distressed Crayons. I used those two items as my inspiration. The top of Tim's tag is more grungy than mine.....but it is spring and I just can't be grungy when the flowers are blooming. :)

12 Tags of 2016-March
- Surfaces: Shipping Tag, Text Paper, Card Stock, Velum (Tim Holtz) and Pebbled Paper (DCWV)
- Tools: Dies (Spellbinders and Tim Holtz) and Stamps (Text and Swirl)
- Coloring Mediums: Distressed Crayons, PanPastels, Versamark Ink, Perfect Pearls, Clear Embossing Powder, Embossing Ink and Black Pen.
- Other: Distress Glitter (Rock Candy), Glazing Medium, Sentiment (Tim Holtz) and Pearls
Step One: Cut shipping tags with dies.
Step Two: Layer shipping tag onto text paper background.
Step Three: Color tag using Distressed Crayons. Use water to blend. I just used my finger to blend the crayons.
Step Four: Cut Pebbled Paper to fit tag background. Color with PanPastels.
Step Five: Stamp text stamp using Versamark ink. Apply PanPastels colorless blender to reveal image.
Step Six: Cut tag with label die.
Step Seven: Adhere top layer to shipping tag using Glazing Medium. Cover tag with additional Glazing Medium. While wet, sprinkle with clear glitter.
Step Eight: Cut butterfly using printed velum. Stamp with swirl stamp and emboss. (My embossing powder is a mix of Perfect Pearls and clear embossing powder.)
Step Nine: Cut flower die from card stock and layer onto tag.
Step Ten: Add butterfly and pearls to tag.
Step Eleven: Add sentiment/quote.
